Madison has been performing as a vocalist for over twenty years. Her obsession with singing and songwriting began at the age of four years old when she received a dual cassette player and Yamaha keyboard for her birthday, which allowed her to record her musical creations.
Her fascination with singing has since led her to pursue the study of music and voice both within and beyond educational institutions for over a decade.
After completing her Diploma in Music and releasing her first body of musical work at age 18, Madison continued onto a BA in Contemporary Vocal Performance and Pedagogy.
During this time she began teaching as a piano and voice tutor for private music schools while simultaneously laying the foundations for a career as a performing artist and session musician in Australia’s music capital, Melbourne. Through such pursuits she found herself singing in venues and on festival stages across Australia and Japan, touring with bands and recording in professional grade music studios with world class musicians.
Beyond the thrill of being on stage, the greatest reward that these experiences granted her was an opportunity to explore and understand the mysterious realms of voice mechanics, music theory, performance and song-crafting. She now aims to combine her lived experience and her knowledge of voice with her interests in meditation and somatic embodiment to deliver a holistic approach to vocal training. In doing so, she hopes that she may continue to share her joy and passion for singing with others as they liberate their own voices.
